Hong Kong Garden - Lancaster: Authentic Chinese Dining Experience

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in Lancaster city, you have to come to Hong Kong Garden. Not only is the food amazing but the service and atmosphere are both very welcoming and friendly. There are many selections to choose from and if you like fried rice or other larger plates with shrimp and pork, they have some of the best selections. They do not have any alcoholic beverages, not that I drink, but I did see a customer asking and they said no. I also enjoyed the fried crispies they provided with dipping sauce, almost like chips. Very tasty.

We went here for the first time and everything was great!! I recommend sitting down because you get complimentary fried wontons and hot tea, and very good service. And the prices are very reasonable and they give you huge portions! And we really enjoyed the dishes that we got. Everything was great here and was beyond expectations. Truly the best Chinese restaurant in Lancaster!

A lot of people I work with were raving about this place and I finally decided to give it a try. It was worth the hype. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Our server was amazing and wheeled around a cart for all of our food and even to box our food up. The food was on the upper tier of Chinese food. The sesame chicken was nice and crispy. Really good experience.

Beef fried rice was AMAZING!!! Right amount of veggies, actually had the scrambled egg in it and wok hay. service was quick polite and even put our food in to go containers for us. Would recommend even if you lived out of town.

As much as we appreciated the service and interior, food made us unwell. It’s a busy takeout restaurant with a beautiful yet empty dining room. Service was outstanding. Very professional and attentive. Food however tasted good, put us through a little stomach trouble the next day.

This place is very good, they give you a jar of hot tea and chips with a chinese sauce as an appetizer, if you wanna called like that, for free, similar like going to a Mexican place, that was a great touch. The portions are big, my wife and I weren't able to finish our food, prices are great, I paid $27dlls plus tip for two people. The service was good, the waiter did a great job even when the restaurant was almost full.

My favorite Chinese food in Lancaster and worth a dine in experience. Been going there since I was kid. 30+ years now. No surprise they are still around winning awards. I usually get a chefs specialty dinner... 4 courses of top quality Chinese food (plenty to have leftovers) and good value. Service is outstanding and very clean restaurant. BYO wine and beer. Wouldn't change a thing for another 30+!

I absolutely loved my experience tonight! Steve went above and beyond to provide a great experience to a friend that hasn’t tried Chinese Food before; she loved the Sesame Seed Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and more! Definitely stop by if you’re interested in a genuinely hospitable establishment!
